About Us
Our Mission
Littlestown Watchdogs, Inc. is dedicated to advocating for transparency, accountability, and accessibility in local governance. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we focus on ensuring that public institutions comply with local and federal laws to protect the rights of all community members. We work to remove barriers that prevent equal participation, promote open communication between local government and residents, and empower our community to stay informed and engaged. Through education, advocacy, and action, we strive to create a more inclusive, accessible, and just Littlestown for everyone.
Our Story
Littlestown Watchdogs, Inc. was founded out of a deep love for our community and a shared commitment to making sure it thrives. As residents who have witnessed the evolution of Littlestown over the years, we saw a growing need for an organization that would stand as a vigilant advocate for the people. We believe that every decision made by our local government should reflect the values and needs of our residents, and we wanted to ensure that those decisions are made openly, with input from the community.
Our journey began in response to a series of troubling decisions by our local leadership—decisions that we felt did not reflect the best interests of our community. Concerned about the direction in which these decisions were taking Littlestown, we came together to demand greater accountability and to ensure that the voices of all residents were heard. This collective determination led to the creation of Littlestown Watchdogs—a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a more informed and involved community.
We’re quickly growing into a strong and active presence in Littlestown, providing residents with the resources they need to stay informed and engaged. We believe that by working together, we can build a community where everyone’s voice is heard, and where decisions are made in the best interest of all.
